Few cities match up to the glitz and glam of the Big Apple. Unwind amongst acres of green expanse in Manhattan's famed Central Park, stroll the celebrated Metropolitan Museum of Art, and snap a selfie against a backdrop of the city skyline atop the observation deck at Rockefeller Plaza. Tour famous monuments like the Brooklyn Bridge or the Statue of Liberty, be wowed by a world-renowned music and theatre scene and top it all off with dinner at one of over 20,000 restaurants, from teeny tiny diners to the most illustrious Michelin eateries in the nation. And we haven't even mentioned the shopping.

Step back in time wandering the charming streets of Old Town Albuquerque, passing historic adobe buildings dating back to the 1700s, browsing shops selling Native American jewelry and handicrafts and soaking up the spectacular high desert scenery. Visit the Petroglyph National Monument and see over 15,000 examples of prehistoric art located along a beautiful 17-mile canyon in the Albuquerque Basin Volcanic field. Don't miss a chance to ride the Sandia Peak Tramway, the world's longest aerial tram ride reaching the summit of the breathtaking Sandia Mountains. For a next-level bucket list adventure, visit in October during the annual Balloon Fiesta and catch a rare glimpse of over 500 colorful hot air balloons rising with the sun.

From its captivating bright blue beaches to its loud retro architecture, Miami Beach glows with the colors of yesteryear. Take a tour though over 800 pastel stucco buildings of the Art Deco Historic District, do some shopping in the high-end boutiques of Lincoln Road and cruise the famous Ocean Drive. A trip to Miami Beach is not complete without a visit to the picturesque South Beach Boardwalk. Here, stunning ocean views and wide beaches dotted with more than three dozen colorful lifeguard towers make for an instagrammer's paradise.

Located in one of the original thirteen colonies of the United States, Philadelphia is a history buff's dream. See the historic Liberty Bell at Independence Hall, the location for the signing of both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Take a tour of dozens of museums, like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Barnes Foundation, the hands-on Please Touch Museum and many more. Tour the chilling halls of the notorious Eastern State Penitentiary, wander countless parks and gardens once visited by our country's forefathers and don't even think about leaving without ordering the obligatory cheesesteak at Reading Terminal Market.

Sometimes the ideal weekend escape doesn't involve wild nights and busy days, but the peaceful calm of nature-someplace where the only twinkling lights are the stars overhead. With crystal clear blue waters and snowcapped Sierra Nevada Mountains, California's Lake Tahoe is the perfect fit. The diverse terrain supports outdoor activities of all kinds, from hiking to fishing, golfing, canoeing, skiing and more. Go mountain biking on the dynamic Tahoe Rim Trail, explore the spectacular scenery of Emerald Bay State Park or enjoy panoramic views of the lake from the Gondola at Heavenly.
